Larkspur Dispatch

Accessibility Statement

Everyone should be able to read these stories comfortably.

Larkspur Dispatch is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience and apply the relevant accessibility standards.

Measures we take

  • Semantic landmarks, one main heading per page, and a logical heading order.
  • Descriptive alternative text on every photograph.
  • Labelled form fields with inline error messages and visible focus states.
  • Layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling from mobile to desktop.
  • Animations that respect your reduced-motion settings.

Conformance

We aim to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Some older photographs may carry short rather than long descriptions; we are working through the archive.
